Hotel Supply Chain Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hotel availability and supply strategy in Queensland, ensuring that hotels have the necessary resources to meet their needs.

  • Develop and implement effective hotel availability and supply strategies
  • Collaborate with hotels to inform them about allotments, availability, and supply
  • Conduct regular rate and competitor checks to ensure hotels are competitive
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hotels, providing information and advice through various communication channels
  • Organize and coordinate tourist trade fair visits with hotels
  • Monitor statistics and follow up on cancellations and evaluations

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant account management role
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience or interest in e-travel and/or the hotel/travel industry
  • Proactive, responsible, friendly, and able to work independently
  • Quick and resourceful, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and thrive in an e-travel and hospitality environment
  • Positive attitude and a passion for providing great service
  • Preferably, a background in hotel management or a university degree
  • A valid driver's license
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Already living in Brisbane with a permit to work in Australia without work pass sponsorship
