Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our mental health team. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working with individuals and families impacted by mental illness using a recovery-based framework.

You will have regular supervision and facilitated peer support sessions, as well as a strong focus on self-care and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include partnering with service users in their recovery journey, assisting consumers and their families to navigate mental health services, and providing direct therapeutic interventions with your own reduced case load.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a genuine interest in developing a career in the mental health sector, have the ability to work as a team member, and possess well-developed interpersonal skills, clear communication skills, both verbal and written. Additionally, recent occupational therapy graduates or early career OTs with less than two years' experience post qualification and AHPRA eligible will be considered.
