Homebuilder Bookkeeper Role

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our accounting and administrative operations by contributing as a skilled Homebuilder Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate account balances in a timely manner.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts to provide support for management reporting.
  • Calculate costs accurately according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Verify and record entries related to lot acquisition and sales contracts.
  • Process accounts payable and reconcile asset, liability, and clearing accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze reports for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Account Analysis skills.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Quarter and Year End Closeout skills.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in General Ledger skills.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Cost - Job skills.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Account Reconciliation skills.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
  • Audit experience is also highly valued.
