Senior Clinical Trial Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Clinical Trial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our project and clinical trial teams, you will be responsible for carrying out administrative, clinical, and patient-facing duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of trials across our Cancer Trial Unit.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting clinical activities such as ECG, vital signs, and blood collection via venepuncture in an effective and efficient manner (full training will be provided)
  • Completing trial documentation and other administrative tasks, including preparing documentation for patient visits, data entry, and query resolution
  • Effective and timely communication with patients, monitors, vendors, and sponsors
  • Performing daily real-time source data quality control checks on source documentation

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a combination of previous experience working in a patient-facing role, good administrative, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to work with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, with excellent organizational skills, demonstrated by their ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines.
