Assistant Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Professional to join our team as an Assistant Educator.

About the Opportunity

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, providing a stable and secure environment for our children to thrive.

As an experienced Diploma qualified educator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work collaboratively with the Centre Director and other educators to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  • To develop and implement individualized learning plans that meet the unique needs and abilities of each child.
  • To maintain accurate records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and reports.
  • To communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification in Children's Services.
  • Proven experience in documentation processes and children's observations.
  • An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
