We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Childcare Professional to join our team as an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator at PCYC East Brisbane OSHC Service.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality practices to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children. You will work collaboratively with your team to deliver a high-quality education and care service that acknowledges and supports the unique strengths, needs, and interests of the whole child.

A key focus of this role is to inspire a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values. We're committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Every interaction with our members is designed to contribute to their sense of belonging and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • No formal qualifications are required for this position, but qualified Educators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children.
  • Experience working within the OSHC or long day care sector is desirable.
  • You must have the ability to respond to the needs and concerns of children to ensure quality service meets agreed standards.
Salary and Benefits

This is a casual position offering $30.70-$37.28 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience). In addition to your remuneration, you'll enjoy generous not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550 per annum tax-free.
