About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Key Worker to join our team at EACH Victoria. As an Early Years Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering supports to families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-informed best practice supports to families and children, using assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development.
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals to build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
  • Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
  • Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system.
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Allied Health or Education.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
