As a Banking Consultant in Retail Banking, you'll play a key role in providing seamless banking experiences for customers, meeting their end-to-end financial needs and goals. You'll have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions and engage in in-depth needs-based conversations, recommending financial solutions available, including digital options. This role is mainly based in branches, delivering high standards of customer service to ensure customers are satisfied and become strong advocates for ANZ.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service, meeting each customer's banking needs across transaction activities and needs-based conversations.
  2. Act as a role model and peer coach in a collaborative team environment, delivering the best possible customer experience.
  3. Contribute to significant uplifts in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
  4. Support bank programs and initiatives actively.
  5. Take responsibility for 'knowing your customer' from a risk perspective.
  6. Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
Your Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in using technology and promoting it - working knowledge of different digital channels is an advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Sound understanding of compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

An estimated annual salary range for this role is AU$60,000 - AU$90,000, depending on your location and level of experience.
