Veterinary Dermatology Nurse Position

The Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre is seeking a highly skilled veterinary nurse to join their dermatology department. As a veterinary dermatology nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting specialist veterinarians in various tasks.
Key responsibilities include performing intradermal testing for allergies, assisting with ear flushes, biopsies, laser surgery, MRI, hearing tests, consultations and discharges, client phone calls, emails and follow-ups.
This role would be ideal for a veterinary nurse who is motivated, able to focus well, has good client and staff relationship skills, works well in a highly skilled team and has experience working in a busy department environment.
Required qualifications include a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualification, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in general practice.
- Employment Details:
- Immediate start available
- Full-time or part-time position on a 12-month contract (with the possibility of permanent employment)
- No weekend rosters, 4-day working week for full-time or negotiable part-time
- Working at Glen Waverley and Essendon Fields locations
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as required
There is a requirement to work at our Glen Waverley and Essendon Fields locations but there may be some degree of flexibility dependent on candidates' locations.
