Key Role

This pivotal position involves showcasing the organization's extraordinary work nationally, responding to internal and external media requests, and building strong relationships with ambassadors and stakeholders.

  • Monitor and manage the media inbox, prioritizing inquiries and fostering collaboration with key partners.
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support high-profile campaigns, leveraging media engagement, stakeholder management, and other critical functions.
  • Source compelling stories from the organization's frontline social mission initiatives.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • At least three years of experience in media and/or communications, preferably with a degree in journalism or a related field.
  • A keen interest in the media landscape, with an understanding of traditional and emerging platforms.
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills, along with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of thousands of Australians in need.
