Newman OperationsNewman is a 7,000-strong community with well-established town facilities, including a revitalized town centre, shops, restaurants, sporting facilities, a swimming pool, and gyms. Our Newman Operations are located approximately 5-10 kilometers out of Newman, Western Australia, making it a short trip to and from work.
The RoleWe are seeking highly motivated Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our Newman Operations residential teams for upcoming opportunities. As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and attending breakdowns of mobile fleet equipment.
You will identify and rectify faults during inspections and follow specific maintenance programs. You will also provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
We are looking for candidates with Australian Recognised Heavy Mechanical Qualifications, technically/mechanically sound skills with Liebherr, CAT, Cummins, and/or Epiroc, and demonstrated diagnostics and breakdown experience with both trucks and ancillary equipment.
