Job Description

As a Staff Web Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the web-based experience at Blinq, an innovative platform that enables seamless sharing and remembering of personal connections. Your expertise will be instrumental in scaling our browser-based experience across millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead web architecture across key growth flows, dashboards, and admin tooling to drive user engagement and retention.
  • Own complex, cross-cutting initiatives from UX to performance and accessibility, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Drive frontend best practices and shared systems across squads, promoting collaboration and consistency.
  • Collaborate deeply with product and design teams to bring bold ideas to life, fostering innovation and creativity.
  • Support junior and senior engineers alike through mentorship and design reviews, ensuring knowledge sharing and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of frontend experience with advanced React + TypeScript expertise, demonstrating a deep understanding of modern web development.
  • Deep experience leading technical projects and web architecture at scale, showcasing your ability to handle complex challenges.
  • Strong cross-functional skills and UX sensibility, enabling you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to scale code quality, testing, and dev experience, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Comfortable working across the stack with backend APIs and infrastructure teams, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.
