About the Role

The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to the General Manager People and Culture, providing HR advice, support, and coaching to Mosaic leaders and employees.

This role is responsible for managing employee relations matters within an allocated account area and leads key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and training, supported by a dedicated team of People and Culture Officers and Coordinators.

The position involves close collaboration with senior leaders to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with senior leaders to drive workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.
  2. Lead and manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  3. Oversee compliance and mandatory training initiatives.
  4. Provide day-to-day supervision for the People and Culture Officers and Coordinator (Direct reports).
  5. Manage complex employee relations matters, including performance management, fitness for work, worker's compensation, and employee grievances.
  6. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including unions.
  8. Provide coaching and support to leaders in performance development and management.

Key Skills and Attributes

Candidates should have extensive experience as an HR business partner or HR manager with an operational focus. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to implement HR initiatives that support organisational objectives and possess strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, along with a collaborative approach and high-level communication skills (both verbal and written), are essential.

A commitment to professionalism, impartiality, and achieving results is highly valued.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in a senior HR role.
  2. Current driver's licence.
  3. Federal Police Check (or ability to obtain).
  4. Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration, including NDIS Worker Screening registration (or ability to obtain).
