We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our team at McDermott International, Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Expertise: Provide engineering and technical support to our construction projects, including interpreting engineering drawings, surveying and layout, and maintaining and controlling drawings and engineering documents.
- Project Coordination: Support the project superintendent, project engineer, or project manager in the daily planning, scheduling, and coordination of the job.
- Construction Planning: Assist in the development of a detailed construction plan to ensure the efficient utilization of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve technical problems and provide expertise to enable the project to be delivered safely, on time, and meeting all quality requirements.
- Customer Relations: Foster, develop, and nurture customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Project Delivery: Ensure the successful delivery of engineering, construction, purchasing, scheduling, and start-up aspects of a project.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that work undertaken complies with scope and meets operational requirements, and obtain appropriate approvals and document calculations, specifications, and variations.
- 2-5 years of company/industry experience.
- 2 years of operations/construction experience.
- Professional degree (engineering or other technical BS required).
