Job Title: Safety Reporting AnalystEstimated Salary:$80,000 - $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job DescriptionThis 9-month contract role is well-suited for a recent graduate looking to gain further experience in the field of safety data analysis. As a Safety Reporting Analyst at Virgin Australia, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with Information Services and business stakeholders.
- Foster and support strong relationships with various stakeholders to drive business satisfaction and improve safety performance.
- Develop and work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and enhance internal safety reporting.
- Analyse data using systems to drive improvement for the overall benefit of the Safety Management System.
This role involves performing safety data analysis, developing systems and processes, and providing high-level data analysis and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform safety data analysis to identify trends and contributing factors.
- Develop systems and interfaces to support ongoing safety data analysis and reporting.
- Provide high-level data analysis and recommendations for business requirements.
- Analyse methods and models for presenting risk and safety data.
- Experience or working knowledge of data analysis tools, including Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to research and present data from various sources.
- Effective presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and make good decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of airline or Fatigue Management systems would be an advantage.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field would be advantageous.
