Dynamic Critical Care Opportunity

CareFlight is a leading charity that provides critical care services to those in need. Our mission is to deliver exceptional patient care while serving our community through aeromedical services.

We operate across Australia, with major base locations in NSW and the NT. Our specially trained medical professionals use helicopters, turbo prop aircraft, and Aeromedical jets to provide critical support to patients.

The Role

We are currently seeking two Registrars for dynamic and challenging Pre-Hospital and Retrieval Medicine positions in New South Wales. These roles involve managing critically ill and injured patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage critically ill and injured patients in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Provide critical care services to patients in remote areas of Australia.
  • Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Final Year Advanced Trainee, Provisional Fellow, or Specialist in Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or Intensive Care.
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligibility for registration.
  • Completion of ATLS / EMST / ETM or equivalent.
  • Experience in caring for critically ill patients and adapting clinical practice to work in challenging environments.
