Job Title: Team Leader for Parks and Gardens Maintenance

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep of local parks, gardens, sportsfields, reserves, and verges.

This is a key leadership role that requires a strong ability to manage teams and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintenance staff to ensure the smooth operation of park and garden facilities
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure the highest standards are met
  • Monitor and control budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum C Class Licence and transport
  • Proven leadership experience
  • MR Truck Licence desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience operating small plant equipment such as hedgers, whipper snippers and more
  • WHS White card

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
