About This Role

We are seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. The successful candidate will focus on new business acquisition across APAC, targeting key financial services and professional services segments.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Sydney with flexible home/office-based arrangements for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth across key APAC regions (Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney) by prospecting for new clients and developing new business opportunities within the Enterprise segment.
  • Attend key events as a speaker or to generate leads across the region.
  • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Apply a value-based methodology to qualify opportunities and progress complex deals in a predictable manner.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate successful B2B enterprise sales experience in commercially driven environments.
  • Possess a background in technology sales and/or SaaS, comfortable bringing technology to the marketplace.
  • Be competent using outbound selling tools and possess a refined sales methodology.
  • Have advanced sales skills (proposition development and consultative selling) focused on closing deals with a hunter mentality.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions addressing client requirements.
  • Experience working in or with the financial services and professional services space is preferred.
  • Track record of dealing with CxO level executives and comfortable closing deals over $100k in value.
