The Job
As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing therapy plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions in community settings. You will also collaborate with families, carers, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments and developing tailor-made therapy plans for clients across the age span
- Delivering evidence-based interventions in community settings
- Collaborating with families, carers, other health professionals, and educators to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients
- Maintaining accurate client records and documenting progress
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest practices in speech pathology
About the Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Speech Pathology
- Full registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Current police clearance, WA Working with Children Check, and NDIS worker check
- Current driving licence and full Australian working rights
