Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar PV Supervisor to lead our commercial solar and battery energy storage system installation sites.

This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative projects that drive sustainability across Victoria, while providing leadership and mentoring opportunities for apprentices and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise commercial solar and BESS installation sites, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Install, test, and commission solar PV systems, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to apprentices and site teams.
  • Maintain open and consistent communication with project and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, electrical, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Hold SAA Accreditation – Design & Install Grid-Connected Systems (PV & BESS).
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Possess a current A-Class Electrical Licence.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with ability to manage teams, mentor apprentices, and manage subcontractors.
  • Excel in communication and organisational skills.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments, with proven ability to respond swiftly and effectively to urgent project demands.
  • Experience working with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Commitment to safety, quality assurance, and customer service.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
