We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Project Manager to join our team at Johnson, Mirmiran, and Thompson Inc. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and delivery of transportation and transit facilities capital projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multi-discipline design teams to plan and design transportation, transit, and other related facilities for state and local agencies.
- Develop and ensure that project design scope, budgets, and schedules are maintained, and project milestones are met.
- Oversee drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations to ensure compliance with design standards and intent.
- Provide technical leadership and drive resolution for project designs and coordination.
- Supervise and mentor staff to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Work with engineers, architects, owner staff, and others to investigate and resolve facility issues.
- Prepare and present studies and reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Leaders, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals.
- Bachelor of Architecture, Professional degree in Architecture, or Bachelor of Engineering.
- Minimum of 10+ years of architectural or engineering design experience.
- Professional Architect or Engineer License.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Familiar with computer-assisted design software such as Revit and Auto CAD.
- Preferred Experience: Experience managing transportation, transit, and community capital projects.
- LEED AP accreditation preferred.
- NCARB accreditation preferred (Architects only).
The work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. Field work is required on occasions where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
