Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording data.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable status.
A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:
- Proven working experience in accounts payable.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exposure to SAP is advantageous.
