Job Description

Georgiou Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Paradise Alliance, you will play a critical role in the delivery of the Paradise Dam Improvement Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting and administering construction engineering activities in line with project documentation
  • Assisting the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports
  • Demonstrating financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions
  • Active management and liaison with site-based personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against program and budget
  • Managing short- and long-term construction planning for works under control
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against program and budget
  • Actively liaising with project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers
  • Developing and managing SHEQ processes and procedures
  • Applying engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements:

  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer working on large-scale projects with a tier 1 company
  • Previous experience in RCC – Roller Compacted Concrete, TMR, and concrete formwork
  • Proven commercial experience in forecasting and budget management, EOM process, and cost tracking skills
  • Ability to work on site, either FIFO or DIDO
