Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, action logs, and risk registers
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation, including proposals, reports, and tenders
  • Coordinate internal and external project meetings, including minute taking and follow-up actions
  • Manage resources and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage project documents and contracts
  • Create new engineering projects/tasks and establish new clients/customer accounts within internal systems
  • Process work orders in appropriate software programs/online portals
  • Document relevant maintenance works
Reporting and Resource Management:
  • Assist with tracking project budgets and resource allocations
  • Provide financial reporting support, including monitoring of project costs, invoicing, and forecasting
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Ensure project documentation complies with relevant industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Support implementation of QA/QC procedures and assist with audits where necessary
Client & Stakeholder Liaison:
  • Act as a point of contact between clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Support communication flow and manage expectations between stakeholders
Health & Safety:
  • Promote a strong HSE culture across project activities
  • Ensure coordination of HSE documentation for site-based work in line with Queensland regulations

This is an intermediate-level position requiring 5+ years of project coordination experience, preferably in an engineering or technical consulting environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications, proficiency in project management tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records and reports.
