Job Overview

The Sporting Globe Bar and Grill is a renowned sports bar and grill chain offering an exceptional dining experience. With locations across Australia, it has become a top destination for sports enthusiasts, providing a unique atmosphere and live sports entertainment.


You will find a vibrant and energetic environment, reminiscent of a sports stadium. Large screens and TVs are strategically placed throughout the space to ensure patrons can catch every thrilling moment of their favourite sports events while sitting comfortably in private booths and TV areas.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Effective management of staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift supervision.
  • Operationally lead the venue, encompassing restaurant, bar, and functions management.
  • Oversee the operational facets of the business, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Audit and adhere to OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs.
  • Deliver superior service and quality to provide outstanding guest experiences.
  • Cultivate a positive working environment, leading by example as a senior leader.
  • Maintain current market knowledge, engaging promotional concepts to drive business growth.
  • Strategically approach revenue driving.
  • Management, food and beverage, customer service, and achieving financial targets.

Requirements:
  • 1 year's Hospitality Management experience.
  • Experience in both Bar and Restaurant environments.
  • Ability to control financial aspects of a business.
  • Leadership skills, team development, and training.
  • RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced essential.
  • First aid certificate preferred but not essential.
  • Approved Managers Certificate preferred but not essential.
