About the Opportunity

This traineeship is an exciting chance for a First Nations individual to join a high-profile sports venue management agency.

Working at GMHBA Stadium on Wadawurrung Country, you will be part of a team that delivers inclusive and high-quality sports and entertainment events.

The role is aligned with the agency's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, which aims to create meaningful employment pathways for First Nations people.

As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced staff who maintain the world-class venue.

About the Role
  • You will provide support across various administrative and operational functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. General administration tasks such as document handling, data entry, and email correspondence.
  2. Supporting stakeholder relationships through presentations, meeting coordination, and relationship management.
  3. Updating digital content and assisting with internal events.
  4. Assisting with customer service and visitor enquiries.
  5. Assisting with logistics and service contractors.
  6. Helping with stocktake and inventory checks of stadium equipment and assets.
Requirements
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude.
  • A passion for community engagement and events.
  • Skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A confident communicator with great interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
  • A Year 12 VCE/VCAL graduate.
Benefits

  • You will also have time during the week to complete your TAFE training.
