Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Northbridge Recruitment. As a key member of our Government team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and services built on the OpenStack cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement private cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and networking components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with private cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Ansible and Satellite.
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
  • Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for private cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including OpenShift, Data Centre Facilities Management, and monitoring teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Linux administration.
  • Solid experience working with OpenStack.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with Red Hat Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN).
  • Experience with Object Storage and Ceph Block Storage.
