About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Compas Pty Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for modernizing business capabilities and replacing core election ICT systems with a citizen-centric, agile technology platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and document long-term development and deployment goals to support federal events such as elections and major projects.
  • Design and implement hybrid environments, migrating from on-premise to cloud platforms.
  • Develop pipelines that deploy Infrastructure as a Code (IAC) and implement IAC with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) tools.
  • Build and maintain complex Azure DevOps pipelines, leveraging GIT version control and common branching strategies.
  • Deploy and maintain Azure resources, including Azure App Service and similar.
  • Work with major Cloud Platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Requirements
  • Relevant technology certifications across the cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in working in hybrid environments and designing migrations from on-premise to cloud platforms.
  • Ability to understand and disseminate industry terminology and concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in developing pipelines that deploy IAC and implementing IAC with CICD tools.
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining complex Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Experience with GIT version control and common branching strategies.
  • Net Core and Net framework applications.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining Azure resources.
  • Experience in working with major Cloud Platforms.
