Structural Engineer Role at Intrax

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our close-knit team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity.

  • Deliver high-quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity.
  • Lead and manage projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frames.
  • Liaise with architects, project managers, builders, developers and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
  • Cultivate a sense of client focus in your everyday approach to work, in particular with a sense of responsiveness, delivery on time, and professionalism.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Attend site inspections/meetings during construction phase.

You will need to have:

  • A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • 2+ year experience in civil design or structural design.
  • Drive Licenses.
  • Experience in design for high-end residential buildings, commercial buildings, and warehouse.
  • Experience in designing of reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures including raft, subfloor designs, timber framing, basements, extensions.
  • Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools including Space Gass (essential), Structural Toolkit (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous).
  • A network of clients who have been satisfied with your approach to structural consultancy.
  • An ability to build rapport with all types of clients and project stakeholders.
  • A drive to further develop your career and assist with business development.
  • Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes.
