Job Title: PCU Float Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a PCU Float role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized nursing care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, taking into account their unique needs and requirements.
  • Floating between units to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet patient needs, while maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and treatment plans, using electronic medical records systems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services, ensuring seamless communication and effective decision-making.
Requirements:
  • BLS/ACLS certification is required, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, showcasing expertise and adaptability.
  • Strong knowledge of IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, and electronic medical records (Epic), allowing for efficient and effective patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
