About the Role
Yooralla is seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the North (Glenroy) region. As a permanent full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist, you will provide best practice, evidence-based occupational therapy services to adults and young people with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Your working days may involve delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community, aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing.
About You
You'll be an established and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, good interpersonal skills, and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them and build their capability.
To be successful in this role, you'll share Yooralla's values and have experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model, the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families, a willingness to improve on your clinical practice, care for the work you do and for the people you work with, competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems, good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapy), and an Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across Northern Melbourne region, as required.
