Empathetic Caregiver for Mental Health

The role of the Mental Health Specialist is to provide evidence-based interventions that promote recovery for clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality assessment and evidence-based psychological interventions within a stress-vulnerability and recovery framework.
- Liaise with external services, including healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Comply with data collection requirements under policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular supervision, professional development, and ongoing education to enhance clinical skills and best practice.
This includes developing crisis response plans and documenting mental health assessments and risk assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registration as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist with AHPRA and a current annual practicing certificate.
- Registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with a current practicing certificate.
- Sound knowledge of clinical practice and therapeutic interventions within the mental health field.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team.
