About the Role

We are seeking skilled Heavy Haulage Specialists for our project in Paraburdoo on a 3:1 roster. Ideal candidates will have experience in mining projects, particularly supporting water infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning discussions and lift studies, considering load characteristics, equipment limitations, and environmental factors to ensure efficient operations.
  • Implement rigging plans in accordance with established procedures, ensuring safe and effective load management.
  • Prepare and inspect loads, considering weight, dimensions, and balance to prevent accidents.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Set up and operate heavy hauling equipment, such as cranes, hoists, slings, and ropes, to safely transport and position heavy loads.
  • Collaborate effectively with operators and team members involved in load movement to ensure seamless and safe operations.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Able to obtain HRWL - RB, RI, RS & EWP certifications.
  • Pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug screening.
