Heavy Haulage Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Haulage Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Haulage Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations using heavy haulage trucks.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Australian MC/Heavy truck licence, a minimum of 1 year recent heavy/multi-combination driving experience, and the ability to work with, maintain and carry out general repairs and maintenance on pumps, meters and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive heavy haulage trucks to transport goods across various locations.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
  • Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
  • Take special precautions while driving.

Requirements:

  • AQF certificate II or III.
  • Valid Australian MC/Heavy truck licence.
  • Minimum of 1 year recent heavy/multi-combination driving experience.
  • Ability to work with, maintain and carry out general repairs and maintenance on pumps, meters and related equipment.
  • Demonstrate sound geographic knowledge – Perth and WA.
  • Be highly reliable with a first-class approach to safety and customer service, good communication skills.
  • Fatigue Management Certificate.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol and pre-employment medical.
  • MSIC Card.
  • Load restraint certificate.
  • Dogs and chain experience.
  • Side and End Tipper experience.
