Trade Finance Expert with Finastra Trade Innovation

**Luxoft is seeking a seasoned Trade Finance professional to join our team in Sydney.**

We are building a dedicated team to handle and implement Trade Finance requirements for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Trade Finance domain, specifically with Finastra Trade Innovation, and be able to lead our team's efforts in this area.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain Borrowing Base and transactional monitoring processes
  • Collateral valuation and eligibility
  • Liaise with Business and Vendors to gather and develop new requirements
  • Document business requirements and prepare functional specs
  • Execute projects, reviewing requirements, test cases, design, and test results
  • Participate in periodic risk reviews with the RISK department and Business Line

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of total experience, with 5+ years in Trade Finance and 3+ years in TI full life cycle implementation
  • Proven experience in Finastra Trade Innovation customization, configuration, requirements gathering, and design
  • Strong knowledge of Finastra Trade Innovation upgrade process and ability to design and develop Trade Interface Manager upstream and downstream tools
  • Hands-on experience in Trade Finance Operations or rollout of Trade Finance management systems in multinational banks
  • In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance products, such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Standby Letters of Credit, Collections, and Undertakings
  • Clear understanding of the life cycle, flows, and variants under each Trade Finance instrument
  • Good knowledge of downstream and allied processes, such as limits, settlements, and G.L. entries
  • Agile methodology and sprint ceremonies
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of project and system development life cycles; experience of data analysis and mapping
  • Excellent interpersonal and structured communication skills

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience
