About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate emergency care professional to join our dynamic team at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with patients, families, and carers to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality person-centred care.

Our state-of-the-art facility handles approximately 58,000 presentations annually and serves a community of about 200,000 people.

A new expanded hospital is being built in Bankstown city centre, offering an enlarged emergency department, operating theatres, intensive care units, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, quality care to patients in emergency situations
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and carers to achieve identified goals and outcomes
  • Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex cases
  • Participate in risk management, WHS, and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty, demonstrating safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to manage interpersonal challenges professionally

Critical thinking skills, with ability to apply evidence-based nursing care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
