As a Mechanical Product Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our design team. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with project and client managers to set and meet project goals and timelines.
You will take on a technical lead role within projects, ensuring successful delivery of project stages. You will also be responsible for communicative sketching, concept development, and presenting to clients and internal stakeholders.
Applying engineering principles to solve design challenges, understanding materials and production processes, and performing risk analysis and management are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will source suppliers, both locally and internationally, and maintain BOMs, designing and performing test procedures, recording test documentation, managing certifications, and outcomes.
Detailed 3D CAD modeling and creation of engineering drawings for prototype and production are essential skills required for this position.

Required Skills & Qualifications- 5-10 years' experience in similar or relevant roles (consulting)
- A solid understanding of the product development process, delivering projects from concept to production
- Great communication skills (sketch, written, and verbal)
- Good time management with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- An ability to autonomously work in and lead small teams, embracing a small team culture
