Job Overview

As a Senior Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in our team's success by providing advanced security operations and leadership to our Managed Security Services clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform SIEM-based event analysis and incident triage to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
  • Lead threat hunting activities, perform vulnerability assessments, and develop new detection capabilities through the creation and tuning of alerts.
  • Provide end-to-end support for customer and internal systems, ensuring seamless operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver operational and project support, driving improvement and achieving successful outcomes.
  • Communicate security issues effectively with internal and external stakeholders, promoting transparency and trust.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering growth and development within the team.

About You
  • You have a strong background in information technology or a related field, with industry-recognised qualifications such as SANS, OSCP, or ISC2 being highly desirable.
  • With a minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational security role, you possess in-depth knowledge of security and analytical concepts, as well as expertise in incident response and management methodologies.
  • You are familiar with IT security operations in large or complex organisations and have hands-on experience with IT security tools and controls, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, Anti-Virus, and WAF.
  • As an Australian citizen, you are eligible to obtain a security clearance, which is essential for this role.
