About the Role

As a senior team member, you will lead pastoral care and bereavement services within the psychosocial services department. This involves providing specialist care, developing innovative services, supervising staff, and promoting contemporary understanding of pastoral care.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. To deliver exceptional pastoral care, you will work closely with residents, families, and staff to understand their unique needs and preferences.
  2. You will develop and implement effective strategies to address the spiritual and religious needs of residents, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment.
  3. In collaboration with the team, you will promote a modern understanding of pastoral care, fostering a culture of compassion, empathy, and respect.
About You
  • You possess at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or other relevant qualification.
  • You hold theological and/or other relevant graduate qualifications.
  • You have proficient computer skills and are able to adapt to new technologies.
  • Able to lead a Catholic Communion Service is an asset.
