About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing and Business Development professional to lead our Sydney CBD team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans that meet business objectives.
  • Support senior stakeholders in the production of marketing materials, including capability statements, brochures, and presentations.
  • Deliver client-focused business development and marketing activity, with a particular focus on events.
  • Support Australia-based partners on internal events and communications.

Main Duties:

  • Support partners and leaders in identifying and delivering core marketing activities, including but not limited to, capability statements, sponsorships, events, CRM initiatives, and internal communications and events.
  • Contribute to sales growth by supporting partners and leaders in their activities to win new clients or expand services provided to existing clients.
  • Identify and translate client issues into multi-jurisdictional campaigns that demonstrate how DWF can support current and future clients.
  • Drive marketing plans to ensure activities stay on track and focus on plans is maintained.
  • Work with Brand, Communications, and Digital teams to ensure campaign activity is coordinated across all channels.
  • Report on activities and their impact in the market place and on business – to demonstrate ROI.
  • Be a key player in project teams within the wider M&BD team.
  • Manage future/potential junior M&BD colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a professional services environment.
  • Experience in the insurance sector.
  • International work experience.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing materials.
  • Proven track record in providing B2B or B2C multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Client-focused approach, able to demonstrate understanding of client issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Creative and innovative approach.
  • Positive, pragmatic, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk aware.
