Job Title: Seasonal Mail HandlerAre you looking for a physically demanding role with great benefits?We have an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Mail Handler to join our teamAbout the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting parcels and mail, manually loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices), working across sophisticated processing equipment and lines, operating and using load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers whilst cooperating with operations staff to get the mail into the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sorting parcels and mail
  • Loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers and metal cages
  • Working across sophisticated processing equipment and lines
  • Operating and using load shifting equipment
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong physical presence, able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly, with a great memory and attention to detail. You must also be safety-conscious and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices including pallet jacks to load and unload parcels from trucks and vans.
