Job Summary

The Operations Engineering Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of engineers delivering mission-critical communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and designs systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverages expertise in LAN/WAN switching and routing, APCO P25 radio systems, mobile data systems, Windows, and Linux-based operating systems administration to drive solution delivery.
  • Oversight of operational health, security, and maintenance of public safety systems ensures seamless performance.
  • Management of day-to-day operational priorities and activities enhances team productivity and efficiency.
  • Serves as a technical escalation point for staff requiring assistance with system issues.
  • Proactive identification and resolution of systemic issues aligns with ITIL framework principles.

Maintains accurate and comprehensive documentation to support operations engineering services.

Fosters compliance with ITIL service management processes and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
