Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance Planning

Visy is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Maintenance Planning Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the optimal operation of our paper machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the CMMS system to plan and schedule maintenance activities
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize paper production
  • Liaise with production and maintenance contractors to plan and coordinate maintenance shuts
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance contractors
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar planning position
  • System experience: CMMS, IFS, MS Projects, MS Office
  • Understanding of paper manufacturing and OH&S requirements
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
