Carpentry plays a crucial role in constructing and renovating homes, offices, and other structures.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Installs wall/ceiling frames, roof trusses, and eaves systems using precision layout tools (e.g., laser levels) and engineered timber/light-gauge steel components.
• Determines material quantities (timber, steel studs, gypsum), precise dimensions, and installation sequences for carpentry projects.
• Repairs deteriorated wooden elements (e.g., rot, termite damage) through selective timber replacement and reinforcement techniques for longevity.
• Builds partitions, flooring systems, stairs, and decorative panelling with specialized connectors (nails, screws, brackets), emphasizing load-bearing integrity and acoustic performance.
• Designs, installs, and dismantles temporary moulds for poured concrete structures, focusing on dimensional accuracy and safety protocols.
• Fits windows, doors, and associated hardware (hinges, handles, locks), ensuring alignment, weatherproofing, and compliance with accessibility standards.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified carpenter with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
