We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Bunbury. This role involves providing domestic supports to high-needs customers within their residence.
The ideal candidate will have experience with manual handling and medication administration, as well as significant personal care and domestic duties experience.
They should also be able to manage complex or difficult situations with patience and maturity.
Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher is desirable.
- Delivering a wide range of domestic supports withinhigh-needs customer residence;
- Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals;
- Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed;
- Administration duties, expense and mandatory reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration;
- Significant personal care and domestic duties experience;
- Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
- Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher is desirable;
- Willingness to use your fully insured and registered, private vehicle (aligned with motor vehicle allowance rebate).
