Truck Mechanic Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team in Coffs Harbour. The role involves diagnosing faults and performing service, maintenance, repair, and rebuild work on a range of Kenworth and DAF trucks.

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out routine servicing, maintenance, repairs, and rebuilding tasks on heavy vehicles.
  • Verify own work meets manufacturer standards and specifications.
  • Assist colleagues and participate in training apprentices to enhance the team's overall performance.
  • Be part of the on-call roster and provide support for off-site breakdowns as needed.

Applicants should hold a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualification or possess equivalent experience. A strong ability to work safely, as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills is essential.

Requirements:
  • Hold a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualification or have equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to obtain HR and forklift licenses and/or gain experience with Kenworth or DAF equipment desirable.

We welcome applications from second to fourth-year mechanic apprentices, overseas, and interstate truck mechanics.
