We provide new & used sales for commercial vehicles and construction equipment, along with service, spare parts and finance for a wide range of clients in transport, warehousing, construction, infrastructure, civil works, waste management and government bodies. STM Trucks & Machinery (Daimler Trucks South Coast) is now the authorised dealer for Mercedes-Benz & Freightliner Trucks, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our growing Unanderra branch. The position is on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package.
Your duties will include, but are not limited, to the following:- Trade Certificates for Heavy Diesel Automotive (or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
- Accurately complete job service reports & paperwork
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Commitment to long term employment and its opportunities
- Completion OEM technical training programs
- Excellent time management skills
- Current NSW driver's licence
- Strong work ethics, punctuality and reliability
- Ability to maintain a 100% work efficiency
- Ability to work on a range of light, medium & heavy vehicles
- Ability to work offsite if and when required
- Ability to work overtime & Saturdays, as required
- Own tools (specialised tooling provided)
