We are seeking a motivated Security Officer responsible for establishing a secure environment as mandated by Special Access Program (SAP) policy within Defence facilities.

The position will be responsible for security coordination, analysis and reporting, as well as providing strategic support and advice relating to on security matters. The role is also required to identify, build and maintain strategic relationships with security professionals across the organisation.

We are engaged in the delivery of several projects as part of Defence's Integrated Air and Missile Defence capability program.

The two key projects this role will support are:

  • AIR 6500 PHASE 1 Joint Air Battle Management System will provide command and control systems, and communications systems that interface with air, maritime and land systems.
  • AIR 6502 PHASE 1 Medium Range Ground Based Air Defence will provide air Defence effect capable of providing force protection.

It's an exciting time to consolidate and transform individual Defence capabilities into a persistent, layered, scalable, integrated and allied-interoperable air and missile Defence architecture over the next two decades.
