About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Educator to join our team at Capital Region Community Services Ltd. As an Educator, you will work closely with the Director and team to provide high-quality education and care for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with children and families, contributing to play-based holistic learning programs that meet individual needs.
- Participate in transparent and caring partnerships with families to work towards shared goals for children.
- Be a positive role model, active contributor, and engaged collaborative leader amongst the team.
Requirements
- Ability to engage children in activities responsive to their interests and abilities.
- Ability to develop sustained relationships with children.
- Demonstrated awareness of the rights of the child.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated awareness of mandatory reporting obligations.
- Ability to follow directions and undertake tasks at all levels.
Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate III, Diploma, or higher qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
- Food Safety, Handling, and Hygiene training.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations, and Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
