Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Educator to join our team at Capital Region Community Services Ltd.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a unique and amazing organisation, providing high-quality education and care to children aged 2-5 years.
As a Qualified Educator, you will be responsible for developing strong, positive relationships with children, contributing to play-based holistic learning programs, and actively developing transparent and caring partnerships with families.
You will be a positive role model, active contributor, and engaged collaborative leader amongst the team, delivering quality care and education while upholding the Centre's philosophy and best practice policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement play-based learning programs that meet the individual needs of children.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to the education and care of children.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW).
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter.
- Hold a Certificate III, Diploma, or higher qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
- Food Safety, Handling, and Hygiene training.
